According to reports from the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, during the early morning hours of Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, unknown suspects rummaged through several vehicles which were not locked. The culprits gained entry into one vehicle by breaking out a laminated driver's window. The vehicles were parked outside in the 24500 block of Springwood Glen Lane.
In one of the vehicles, checks were found and a small bit of cash was taken as well.
Cameras caught one vehicle that appeared to be a Lincoln or BMW-X3.
"We always urge residents to lock those car doors at night," Sheriff Troy Nehls. "Quite often, car burglars go the path of least resistance, and that is just enough to keep them from stealing items."
