Two suspects are dead and two others were arrested after a a DPS trooper-involved shooting in Katy Tuesday night.
According to
this report, the shooting was reported on Westheimer Road near South Mason Road in the Katy area around 11 PM on February 12.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and HCSO deputies were conducting an investigation into possible robbery crews at a nearby Walgreens when the suspects tried to flee the scene. The shooting took place just down the road.
Two suspects were taken into custody, one suspect died at the scene from gunshot wound(s), and a fourth suspect died at the hospital also from gunshot wounds.
No officers or civilians were injured during the incident.
DPS believes that the crew is responsible for at least 8 other robberies throughout Harris and Fort Bend Counties.
The investigation is still ongoing.
