The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers are seeking information concerning a rash of vehicle burglaries in the Firethorne area of Katy.
According to reports from the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, in the early morning of Thursday, July 5, a male suspect burglarized 11 vehicles in the Firethorne area. He was able to steal gas cards, checkbooks, a knife, a lockbox that included a passport and a Social Security card.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20's. He has short dark hair, a thin build and is about 5' 10" tall. He was wearing a dark pullover shirt, jeans and dark sneakers. He was also carrying a knapsack in which to store the stolen items.
"We have a decent photo of this guy so someone should be able to make that call and get some cash for a good tip," said Sheriff Troy Nehls.
