New, maybe because I have never seen it. There is a farmers market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the Whiskey Cake parking lot at 23139 Grand Circle Blvd. Happened to be driving by and stopped by on Saturday. Bought some honey from Hepplewhite Farms. Used it this morning over toast. It was delish!!! Plan on going to get more next month.
I love buying direct and you can meet the nicest vendors. Good to know where another location is! They just started one at Shire Distillery in Brookshire. I think it's twice a month. They just had their very first one and I didn't make it, so I'm not sure what all was there.
@rdbrokaw : Been to that one as well. But a little harder to get to at those hours. By 7 much is sold out or at a minimum. Saturday Farmers Markets are the best.
It is good even so that the locals are trying to stay in business. This is a means of living for many. Thank you to al that support any and all farmers markets.
