Also my CPA suggestion that if you are not financially stable from the pandemic to pay taxes that it is better to file the extension than pay a penalty for filing late or not all.

Staycations are boring. Yesterday my wife and drove to Galveston, took a boat ride to see dolphins (only three people on a tour boat that can hold 100 people) had lunch at Mario's seawall (only one other table was occupied). Stopped by Rita's to have a fantastic Italian water ice, then drove to an empty beach near Freeport and went for a relaxing swim. We wore facemasks, sanitized and kept our distance from others, Going to Kroger is more dangerous.
Sounds like an amazing day and glad you took advantage of all that is wonderful. Some may have no choice but to have a staycation. This pandemic affects different ways. Elderly loved ones at home that can be compromised by any sort of infections or viruses. No job, no money, not even to enjoy small day trips. Staycations are only as boring as you make it.
@saltydog : We drove to Branson 2 weeks ago and stayed there for 5 days at Table Rock Lake, it was calm and the weather was nice. We walked to downtown it was a lot of people and few were wearing face masks...
