How old is the fence? Compare the cost of both. How long will the pressure washing and staining last? A few years compared to getting a new fence and it lasting longer. Hope this helps. Good luck.
5 years old. I think they used the cheapest pockets available so we are going for replacing the whole thing with treated pickets or cedar panels instead

Have you decided yet? I'd like to experiment with an idea for quickly removing the posts, even broken or rotted ones, and replacing them with new posts in the same spot. No charge. No obligation. I just need to know if it works before I replace my own fence. The only requirement is that the posts be set into dirt, not concrete. One post to test the idea. If it does work and you want me to do the rest of posts it would be $40/ post. No charge for first post.
@ElysonMomma : We have not..going on 11 years now. We do pressure wash and treat it yearly, but it needs to be replaced. Just hanging in there until our neighbors want to help pay for a new one.
